The Land

Corrum is a kingdom on the Western Coast of the Bright Lands Continent. The capital city is Dar Fallas, southeast of the famed Universitea Magica at Vo Kami Heights. The summer palace, Dar Mallas, is located on the eastern edge of the Watersdeep Bay. Vo Vight holds the northern edge of the great bay while it's recent rival, Watersdeep (or more commonly just Deep) City, has sprung up on the southern side.

Dar Fallas is divided into four sections. At the center of the city lies the Summer Palace. By now, the Palace has grown to the point where is has reached the First Wall and its grounds cover over seventy acres. Between the First and Second Walls lies the Nobles Quarters, where all entailed nobility must maintain a Winter Residence. Between the Second and Third Walls lies the Merchants Quarter, where the commerce of the city thrives and also the location of the Guild Houses and the middle class residences. Outside of the Third Wall is the Labor's Quarters. The neighborhoods closest to the two main gates, the Dar and the Northern Gates, while not as spiffy as those in the Merchant's Quarter, are also not as much of an eyesore as the sections closer to the Fallas Docks and away from the main roads. A Fourth Wall is currently under construction.

Corrum is divided from its northern neighbor, Reitvar, by the Eginal Mountain range. To the south lies the Salt Seas, a desert of Saharan proportions that contains the largest grouping of salt mines on the continent. Good relations with the desert tribes who own the salt mines have insured that that valuable commodity is easily obtained in Corrum. To the west lies Mar Dellium, the Ocean of Dreams. The Hollow Forest, or just the Hallows, holds the north east border. According to superstition, the Hollows is home to Elvin tribes and creatures of legend, leaving few brave souls to enter it. Those that do seldom return. The southern-most expansion of the Hollows marks the eastern border of the kingdom, and the beginning of the territory claimed by the League of City-States. Each city state, with the exception of Co Guild, is named after its ruling family. Co Veden is governed by an ogilarchy of guildsmasters as the city rose at the beginning (or the end, depending on you viewpoint) of the Great Trade Road. The closest city state to Corrum is Co Leurin.

Other points of interest in this kingdom (relative to the capital as the crow flies) include: Sands Watch, due south by three weeks caravanning; Hollows Watch, north-northeast by another three weeks caravanning; Agrimon's Folly to the east-southeast by two weeks caravan; Snowsgate to the north-northwest by five weeks caravan; and Glenismede at the base of the Mount Torrum, directly north for five and a half weeks caravan.
