The God of Mischief

The Primal Darkness ever watches the Bright Lands with one part of Edar’s complexity. Pleased and intrigued by Illyana’s mixing of spirit and substance, Edar saw opportunity for amusement in the creatures called Man and so the Primal Darkness brought Edar’s consciousness to bear upon them.

Noting Mankind’s intelligence, the Primal Darkness was dismayed to discover that Man seemed to ever seek reason and order in the surrounding world. Edar allowed whimsy to take hold once more and sought within the Void of Possibilities. From out of the Primal Darkness sprang the seventh and last born child of Edar, Melirus, God of Discord and Madness.
